1. Fill out the waiver here. This must be completed before stepping onto the mats.

What to Bring

• Comfortable workout clothes. Try to avoid wearing any sharp jewelry or zippers that can cut.
• Water
• Indoor footwear such as sandals to wear when you are in the gym but off the mats.

This class is designed specifically for women with little to no experience.

You do not need to be athletic, in shape, or experienced to start. We break everything down step by step in a supportive and beginner friendly environment.

There is no pressure, no ego, and no expectation to already know anything.

Our Women’s Self Defense class is held every Sunday and is completely free to attend.

No membership is required. No experience is needed. Just come in, learn, and train.

Whether it is your first class or your first time ever trying martial arts, you are welcome here. Be sure to follow us on social media in case we are closed for a holiday.

How to enter building and parking

We are at 2852 Delaware Ave in Kenmore, NY. There is free parking in the back of the building. Our entrance is the side door with the Wolves sign, not the front door. Sometimes the instructor will arrive exactly at 11am as she has other obligations, so don’t fret if the door is still locked a few minutes prior.

Consider trying our regular group classes once comfortable to maximize your training.

It can be intimidating to step on to a jiu-jitsu mat. Our school prides ourselves on creating a welcome atmosphere for everyone. Our school has a good sized female base and are always welcoming to help new students get acclimated into our regular BJJ program. We encourage this so you can become more accustomed to live resistance training and getting used to defending yourself against all size and strengths.
